Essential Yoga Studio now offers partial or full scholarships, time-limited and based on student need.
The meaning of yoga is to “yoke” – to unite, to bring together, to support – ourselves and our community. And, to Essential, this means being as accessible as possible to as many folks as possible! Because of this, Essential Yoga Studio now offers partial or full scholarships to students; these are time-limited and based on student financial need. Scholarships are available to current students only, after their first month is complete – we encourage purchasing our New Student Special of four weeks of unlimited yoga for $40 – an affordable way to build your practice, get to know our teachers, and add your favorite classes to your weekly schedule and routine.
A student may apply for a scholarship by completing the form found here. Once submitted, Essential’s owner, Sunni, will follow up with you within a couple of days!
Interested in supporting our scholarship fund? Purchase an Essential Yoga Studio sweatshirt (shown below) – they’re super cozy and part of the proceeds support a community member in financial need!
How it works: Sweatshirts are available for purchase in-studio or (online – just reach out to Sunni via phone or email and we can take care of it!) for either $35 or $50; if a sweatshirt is purchased at $50 then $15 of that price option is allocated directly to Sweatshirts for Scholarships. This fund is managed by and allocated to scholarship recipients by Essential’s owner, Sunni.
